Trümp Spent 23% of His Doomed Presidency Golfing

Remember that time he said he wouldn’t have time to play golf?

Bet you believed him. Like the one about Mexico paying for the wall. Or the one about not knowing Stormy Daniels. Or the one about “no quid pro quo”. Or the one about hardly knowing Jeffrey Epstein. Or the one about insert big fat orange lie here.

Well, other than flapping his facial anus lips, golf is the only exercise his fat ass gets.

TC how much was shelled out on Obama and his family’s “outings” .Hiowmuch has been spent on protecting the Clintons over the last 25 years? Especially those trips to Russia.... Maybe it would be interesting to know how much time members of Congress spend golfing with lobbyists......now try to be fair and balanced.....LOL.

Hmmmm ,isn’t t the

Hmmmm ,isn’t t the legislature the Ones who approve and appropriate the money......Trump didn’t do that in a vacuum.......in the words of Ray Davies ...seems like government in general has a big “win”

“give the people what the want Hey, hey, hey
Give the people what they want
Well, it's been said before, the world is a stage
A different performance with every age.
Open the history book to any old page
Bring on the lions and open the cage.
Give the people what they want
You gotta give the people what they want
The more they get, the more they need
And every time they get harder and harder to please
The Roman promoters really did things right.
They needed a show that would clearly excite.
The attendance was sparse so they put on a fight
Threw the Christians to the lions, sold out every night
Give the people what they want
You gotta give the people what they want
The more they get, the more they need
And every time they get harder and harder to please
Give 'em lots of sex, perversion and rape
Give 'em lots of violence, and plenty to hate
Give the people what they want
Give the people what they want
When Oswald shot Kennedy, he was insane
But still we watch the re-runs again and again
We all sit glued while the killer takes aim

In his official campaign launch address, Trump promised to “reduce our $18 trillion in debt,” He didn’t say IF Congress lets him. (And Mexico will pay for the wall).

On the campaign trail, Trump said he would “freeze the budget,” which has certainly not happened. Trump has not come anywhere near presenting a Budget to Congress that dovetailed into his Campaign promises.

Shortly before his inauguration, he told Fox News host Sean Hannity that he would “balance the budget very quickly… I think over a five-year period. And I don’t know, maybe I could even surprise you.” Well, I guess he’s got two years left before this proves to be another fantasy. What are the odds?

Previous to that, in March 2016, he told Bob Woodward that he could get rid of the debt “fairly quickly.” When pressed, he said, “Well, I would say over a period of eight years.”

Remember the good ‘ole days when a central pillar of the Republican party was preaching fiscal responsibility, and living within the constraints of prudent spending practices? No one speaks to this anymore. Trump has destroyed his own party’s credibility with regard to this governing belief. Now the GOP is reduced to simply doing whatever he asks and needs to cover his ass.

I Agree . If the issue is the deficits then discussion would be on who is to blame.
IMO the deficit ,the failure to address it , is the only trully bipartision issue for all government ,regardless of party affiliation.
They all have failed to deal with it ! It is either a good thing or a bad thing ,not good or bad for a particular group or party for their convenience .
I'll pass on the solution to more knowledgeble parties.Hopefully notthe ones who screweed i uporiginally/

Other than that it is just another means of taking a shot at the President for golfing .

Northarrow....The American

Northarrow....The American people demand the spending.....on whatever their pet project is, give the people what they want,..There is a total disconnect between the average American and government debt ,sort of like their personal credit card debt.....as long as there’s money on the card......I had absoluteLy no expectation that Trump or any president is going to tame the out of control spending......Maybe America should default on its debt, clean the slate, now there’s a scenario.........

“The American people demand

“The American people demand the spending....”

I don’t necessarily agree, johnw. Trump won on the basis of his campaign highlights. Build the wall, renegotiate bad trade deals, balance the budget and take no shit from anyone in the swamp. If he were to throw down the gauntlet with a budget calling for drastic spending reductions, the Trump base would ride with him. But he’s staying clear of that part of his foundation. It’s not something he’s willing to go to the mat for. Like he said recently, “I won’t be around when the bill comes due”.

Hey john, you friggin tool,

Hey john, you friggin tool, in three years BoneSpur will have spent as much on his golf outings as the Obamas spent on vacation travel over their entire eight years. And that doesn’t include all the SS protections and travel expenses for Trump’s own mentally impaired children, jetting around the world to sell hotel rooms and ghost-written books.

Since we’re being fair and balanced...

The trolls are, as usual, comparing (bad) apples and oranges (lol). They just can't help it. And, of course, being obscene - which immature basement dwellers apparently cannot help either. If they ever came out into the light, they might develop some social graces...

Judicial Watch said Obama’s

Judicial Watch said Obama’s trips cost $107 mil. Trump is already at $110m. It’s pretty easy to find the figures. But feel free to live in orangewash-land.
