You can imagine just how funny that was for me when that same someone copied me on it.
I still chuckle at the thought of those idiots chasing their own tails.

MSEA is now faced for the first time in a long time with having to be competitive.
Since they can no longer extract involuntary dues from innocents who want nothing to do with them.
That means that they'll have to actually offer something to sell like...
Some appreciable and measurable quantity and quality of labor relations services.
And they can't do that as long as they keep paying millions to Dems for nothing and SEIU for purple tee-shirts.
Therefore they will go the way of Pan Am and TWA unable to compete in a competitive marketplace.
If you don't think so then try and imagine M.T. saying: "The customer is always right."

lease join me in welcoming Ginette Rivard as our union's interim executive director. The MSEA-SEIU Board of Directors named her to the position last night.
Ginette served as president of MSEA-SEIU Local 1989 from November 2011 through Dec. 31, 2015, retiring at the conclusion of her second term. She spent her career as a public servant working for Children's Behavioral Health Services at Maine DHHS. She remains active as a retiree member of our union.
While working in public service, she served on our Board of Directors and as a steward. She also served on the Deferred Compensation Advisory Council and on the AFL-CIO Executive Board.
A resident of Caribou, Ginette earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Maine at Fort Kent and a certificate of graduate studies in nonprofit management from the Muskie School of Public Policy. She is a graduate of the Rockwood Leadership Institute. She has two adult daughters and three grandsons.

I know this might be shocking to some, but it is indeed true... and it has to make us wonder how much they're actually reporting as cash and in-kind political donations...???

RESTRUCTURING OUR UNION
The pending loss of the service fee has led us to restructure how our union does its work. This restructuring is under way. As our Annual Meeting story on Page 1 shows, we eliminated two staff positions: the vacant Director of Field Mobilization position, and a soon-to-be-vacant Account Clerk position held by Carmen Gardner, who has announced her retirement at year’s end. We made the difficult decision to give 45-day layoff notices to four members of our union’s staff. We thank those impacted staff members for their service to you and our union. As we restructure, our Board of Directors on Sept. 7 named past MSEA-SEIU president Ginette Rivard as interim Executive Director, in wake of Rod Hiltz’s resignation for personal reasons (see story, Page 8 of the Sept. 14 Maine Stater).

But not only does MSEA reach for a sword they then hack away at themselves.
Thinking that'll make them more market competitive, not.
Earth to MSEA: you are supposed to be in the labor relations services business.
Therefore, you need to find an actual public sector Labor Relations professional with verifiable accomplishments.
Someone who recognizes that you shouldn't be affiliated with SEIU or the Democratic Party.
Because the money sent to SEIU and the Dems could be spent on hiring more staff rather than cutting them.
Since more staff would mean being able to provide better and more labor relations services.
Read that last line again!
Because no business ever grew providing less business.
And say over and over to yourselves: "Members first!"
Make that your marketing mantra like a poor woman in church mumbling her rosary bead prayers.
Then fire Ginette Rivard.
