For Sale ~ One Woman Owned-&-Managed Woodstove

For Sale ~ One Woman Owned-&-Managed Woodstove

It's a Scandia, and I believe it burns both coal and wood. However, I can't see any model numbers or other info... the back has a heat shield bolted on, so I can't see the back to get a model number. My brother who Knows These Things says it's a "good stove."

If you're interested, shoot me a PM or an email, with an offer. Buyer would need to pick up and haul from Kennebunk, since it weighs twice as much as Betsy. :)

Thanks!
Naran

ps - just in case there are questions, this is a paid advertisement, since I plan to donate a percentage of the proceeds to Scott, and AMG. Many thanks to him, for posting the photos, and for the site.
:)

pps - just like its owner, the stove looks much better in person than it does in the photos.

Okay, I'll 'fess up: I'm a New England boy born 'n' bred, having lived in Vermont many a year prior to darkening Maine's door (with forcibly admitted tenures during younger years in - ahem - other New England states).

But I understand that true love in Maine means wahmth in wintah, shade in summah, and I see the wahmth.

But she looks a bit scant on the shade part. I'm just sayin'.

Yes, eagleisland, I'd say she's had a fair amount of use by the looks of her.

Presuming you're speaking of

Presuming you're speaking of the stove (right?), she's got lots of life left in her, and I'd prefer it be in a home where someone will love, tend, and paint her back to newness.
