*ponders merits of hankie or ascot vs. sawdust and wood shavings garnee.....*
Garnee? Where'd you get THAT five dollar word?
Why, out of my "Five Dollar Dictionary," of course!
Blame it on a misspent youth, huddled in the farthest corner of the library, where I frequently skipped school and read books all day instead.
Whatever happened to the "tinfoil ribbon" idea and samples I brought to the Bangor AMG luncheon?
Must have gone over like a Pb balloon :P
Now I can add R K Lindell to the list. Nice to meet you today.
When/where is the next AMG gathering?
As in bouquet garni?

You have a very nice shop Bob. I love the fact that nothing is made in China. (Other than China, Maine that is...)
I have had the opportunity to meet MANY fellow AMGers and have enjoyed the company of all of them. Scott has a nice "home" and we are all fortunate to be his guests.
I have met 1 amg'er in person. However, I have been part of conversations where "that darn Charlotte from AMG" was discussed. I always find that a hoot.
Charlotte - are you sure the word used was "darn"?
You've got me on that one.
I have met many AMG'ers over the past several years, and every time, it has been a very pleasant experience. There's something very special about finally putting a face with the "voice" one has been reading all this time.
I already have a picture in my mind of everyones appearance.
You either look like this:
and the occasional:
Now don't go an spoil all my fun
Well, I just had a personal visit from Olympia Snowe, wandered into my shop with her staff. Walked right in and said hello and chatted for a while about this and that.
That doesn't count. The Senator would never post at AMG! :D
You mean Charlotte is not Snowe? :?: :D
Ya'll can come up here and visit me, pet the turkeys. I don't get out much. Last time I did 2 gentlemen I know said they saw my posts. Now I am all embarrassed because I am so busy I can never stay in a conversation.

I bet she lurks!
rklindell- First saw him up in Augusta one day he was on his laptop so he didn't talk much and I think we sat next to each other while I was introduced to the entire House GOP. Could never miss him with the bow tie on..
Have seen Dan Billings and he is no fun to meet..
Nobody cares, Lovejoy.
I used to share an office with our Editor.

Now you are showing your age the Editor worked for cavemen correct? (Sorry..Couldn't help it saw an open door on that one)
I was 22 when I worked with the Editor. He was old then.
I've had very few random encounters, but a large number of deliberate ones. A very diverse group.
Going diplomatic in your dotage, Flambe?
DIVERSE ! About as diverse as a flea market.
1Maine - very funny. I'm not even going to speculate as to where I would fit on your picture scale.
Bob M - did she buy anything?
Dan - I've met you, and I've met our Editor. "Old"? Ooooo - the things I could say if Auntie Mabel wasn't listening....
My AMG encounter was by chance...and meeting this person was great!
Actually Naran, images of Mary Poppins enter my mind. :?:
