He introduced himself to us as Bangor Taxpayer. We talked for awhile, and it was quite a nice conversation. It was a pleasure to meet you, BTP!
Hey, Bangor - did you buy her lunch? (kidding).
Are you kidding?
(speaking of buying lunch) How did I KNOW that would be your answer???
Spoken like a true AMG conservative!
(psst - Michelle's cute, isn't she?).
Wow. This thread has degraded rapidly!
Hey - I resemble that remark! :D
pssst - I do get out in the real world occasionally; just not to Bangor. Sorry!
Too good for the "other" Maine, I see.
Like heck - just trying too danged hard to make life livable for those in dire need, here below the Lexus Line. Every time I try to take a day off, eighteen more things to do fall into my lap.
I will someday get up that way, however.... as soon as I can get this anvil off my ankle...
In the meantime, you're one of the only AMG'ers I haven't met, along with Bob "Cinnabon" MacGregor.
Hey, Bangor - did you buy her lunch? (kidding).
He did not. But he did mention a subscription. :)
That's even better!
If you put away the housecoat and got out of the house once in awhile, you might meet some AMG'ers in the real world, too!
Actually, I met Naran at the GOP convention. (I was about 30 pounds heavier then than I am now, too. :) )
Jeezum Crow, Michelle - better take it easy, or you'll disappear altogether! You were svelte then, as I recall.
The idea of a pin to identify AMGers to others is a great idea--a black helicopter perhaps?
tinfoil helmet logo would work
Now that is something I was thinking of.
Pin, and maganet.
Small, pink housecoat pin with a pair of teensy, fuzzy pink slippers dangling below.
My ears are ringing.
How about an AMG bumper sticker?
Can't we all simply wander around with our AMG mugs full of coffee? Easy to spot!
On the other hand, I'm not ruling out Black Helicopters, Tinfoil hats, or Pink Robes & bunny slippers… Ironically appropriate ;)
I love the bumper sticker idea! Scott could sell them, to raise money for maintaining the site. Suggestions?
I'D RATHER BE ONLINE
ADMITTED AMG POSTER
I think the AMG logo on the front page along with the web address below it would both identify us and advertise the site for Scott.
Bob, I like that. Discreet yet meaningful to the anointed. 8)
No, we need a secret handshake or a code word so the identity of those AMGers still in the closet can be kept secret and they can only reveal themselves to those of us also in the know. A bumper sticker is much too public.
You're starting to sound like George, Dan.
My daughter is quite adept at jewelry design and working with such things, sequins, beads of various colors
but I suppose anything rainbow would probably be  , not another thread about that!
I like pin idea and sticker is always good. Although would sticker be too much advertizing?
For those of us south of that line we could just find Mercedes cars with AMG options and collect
things ! No that is illigeal! Pin is best idea!
Dan - the bumpersticker wouldn't tell you WHICH AMG poster owned the vehicle.
Along with the sticker, perhaps we could include one of these, for those handy moments they're needed. Each poster could keep one in the glovebox, for those emergency uses at stoplights, etc.
A closet New Orleans 'Aints fan, Naran?
What if we all just hung a colorful handkerchief from our back pocket or wore an ascot?
I think a lot of you guys already do...... 8)
