Old Eric Holder Interview

I find this amusing, particularly given the juxtaposition of Holder claiming the agents handled the Gonzales matter "very sensitively" and the video of the boy with a gun in his face in the arms of his uncle.

Holder plays race card, calls America a nation of cowards... the only cards in this administration's deck are race cards.

This is the kind of thinking that will dominate this administration - "get back at the man, take what is ours, and make whitey suffer like we did."

Sheeesh...
Through its work and through its example this Department of Justice, as long as I am here, must -- and will -- lead the nation to the 'new birth of freedom' so long ago promised by our greatest President. This is our duty and our solemn obligation."
I'm afraid the bigotry we experienced under Affirmative Action policies will pale in comparison to what is coming down the alley now.

I didn't even know that Obama's wanabe-gun-grabbing attorney general was black until I read Dist's link.

What was I thinking. I need some glasses I guess or maybe that is what we should discuss, who's black, who's white, who's hispanic etc. Wasn't race a big thing in Brazil recently, no one knew who was colored and who wasn't colored, so they had to get out the munsel color chart to make the determination?

Mr. Anderson has written the story of millions of us who have married spouses of a race other than our own or had multiracial children or both.

My experience as the mother of a multiracial daughter who is now 33 years old mirror his. And since he got to show of his son, I will show off my daughter and grandson.

Nice-looking family, Michelle. They don't appear to be downtrodden, either.

Thank you. As a grandmother, I am obligated to bore you with the picture of granddaughter Michelle.

And my daughter, Tania, is hardly downtrodden. She, in fact, is helping to ensure that you and I are not downtrodden. This is a picture of her a few years ago. She is now a Warrant Officer in the 82nd. She does not feel downtrodden, and according to her, the color of her skin has not been a problem in her life.

You are blessed, Michelle.

My sister and her husband have 3 natural children with light skin, blue eyes, etc. When these kids got into middle school age, they decided that they would do foster care as they missed the baby stages and wanted to do something to aid a large problem of unwanted/crack babies in Chicago. They adopted the very first child they took in. They cared for 6 or 8 others for varying amounts of time. They adopted another child who is now about 14. Oh, I just remembered to say that the two adopted girls are black. And they are wonderful. My sister is 64 years old and now has 14 grandchildren. The family is very close. There is little need to discuss race in this family.
