MSNBC dubs Bill Clinton President of the world.......

Who do you think is more miffed Obama or Gore ?
If just listening to Obama made tingles run up Matthews leg. The being in the presence of the "president of the world" must have been titillating in the extreme.....possibly left him gasping for breath!

Still, it is easy to agree

Still, it is easy to agree with this quote:

"But what you see in our documentary - "President of the World" - is the product of a lot of work by our producers. I honestly believe you've never seen anything like it - if for no other reason, we've never had a world leader like this.

If you think of other reasons those statements might be right, you'll be ok with the quote.

Everyone is giving out awards

Everyone is giving out awards these days, why not MSNBC?

I see Rummy got The Defender of the Constitution Award at CPAC. I guess the war department under his watch didn't allow anyone to steal it.

H. W. Bush is getting the Medal of Freedom Award today. I wonder what the rational for that was, leaving the push into Baghdad for his son?

The nation gets a big kick out of giving awards. It's like the end of the Wizard of OZ movie, after the great Oz has been exposed for the sham that he is, he gives out awards with great ceremony.

But what about Dorothy? maybe if we click our heels together......................

I particularly like this

I particularly like this paragraph.... It's about the leader of our country...... Is Bill still president and we just don't know it?/

This is not, and those who watch on the night of President's Day will see this, about the usual partisan politics, but it has a political impact. It's about the leader of our country doing real good in the world and making good for our country in the bargain.

I can think of several

I can think of several classifications for Clinton that would start out with "world-class" - Specifically, "world-class ___________"
