Mills hasn't extended Maine filing deadline

Janet Mills went through LePage's rainy day fund in about 3 months. She and the dems have driven spending like crazy.

Suddenly, she's broke, tax revenues will be way down, and there are tens of thousands of new unemployment claims coming in.

Great job of leadership and planning, there, dems.

Anyway, Fed extension, but no Maine extension. How is this going to work?

UPDATE: Mills just extended the deadline.

Don’t worry Tom, everything

Don’t worry Tom, everything is under control, thanks to our tremendous federal leadership. It’s almost over. We’ll all be back getting shitfaced in bars by Easter. With beautiful healthcare.

There is no problem. All of

There is no problem. All of your money is actually theirs to spend as they wish... they will just increase taxes. They look at a rainy day fund as a pre-Tax increase. Spending cannot be stopped with spendthrifts in power.

What may be interesting is if

What may be interesting is if all of the anti fossil fuel people in Augusta wake up to just how much revenue is generated from fuel taxes. Most gasoline retailers fuel sales are less than half of what the normally are......ouch....inside sales way way way down and less income tax revenue......and dear old Jammit already spent the rainy day fund......

That's OK. Big Government

That's OK. Big Government will rescue us!

Pelosi is trying to get the cap on SALT [State and Local Tax] deductions removed, so rich leftists in high-tax leftist states can use money from poorer folk in lower-tax states to subsidize their comfortable lifestyles again - and it would be retro-active so they can refile the last few years tax returns to grab back the subsidy they've lost since they lost the last election. But this tax cut for the rich is OK because it goes mostly to leftists...

But maybe Maine doesn't have enough rich leftists for it to make a statewide difference?
