High School Football Playoffs

Fred, compare this school to the Biddeford High School. Pretty incredible, isn't it? I wonder how the MEA scores compare. Sometimes gorgeous environments don't make a difference. From what I hear, Biddeford High is a good school. This school was designed by Harriman Associates, who seem to do all the new educational Taj Mahals in Maine. We have two designed by them.Another company like Vision Appraisal, who is crawling across Maine, doing every new, horrendously high property reval right now. Kill them before they spread![ 11-06-2004: Message edited by: Naran ]

High School Football Playoffs

I'll bet you thought this wasn't a political thread. Oh, well...I just need information, and I thought my AMG friends could help.We have folks willing to collect signatures for the Maine taxpayers friend, the Taxpayer Bill of Rights. We'd like to try our luck at collecting
at the games. The Question is: What schools are playing this
weekend? What towns do the schools represent (if it's an SAD type)? Where are they playing the game? And what day and time? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!Fred

Bonny Eagle v Deering will be a good one, lots of fans should show up.However last weekend, Deering v Biddeford and Portland v Thornton were very low attendance. (Maybe due to the Rain).Ed

When you go to Noble High School, once you catch your breath after seeing this Taj Mahal, make sure to check out the performing arts center attached to the school. Absolutely unreal. You'll think you've blinked and been transported to Manhattan. I especially appreciated all the luxe wooden paneling and veneers.Someone who lives there told me this school aka resort for children cost $35M total. You could fit the average Marriott Hotel in the main lobby.

As I was saying. And that's just the OUTSIDE. And we WONDER why there's a tax problem in this state??? I was absolutely floored the first time I went to that school.

Ever hear those 'American Institute of Architects' radio commercials? Obviously, Noble did...
