You don't win followers in the modern era by being preachy... especially after you've condemned the other side for that!

Modern Liberalism feels more like a religion... or a cult... than a philosophy.
Wow that article is spot on, great find.
If there's any hope for the Dems, it's that articles like this are being written, which means at least *somebody* gets it and is talking about messaging with a modicum of insight and nuance.
Not spot on in the least. Just another broad brush painting of liberals by one of their own who doesn't want to be seen as one. Lots of assumptions, little substance. Reminds me a bit of the way AC tries to be "one of the guys" on AMG, no matter how obvious their disdain for him and everything he believes in.
Lance, is this really the kind of website you want to have?

MN NPR affiliate was doing a live broadcast from Ely, a small town in northern MN. Ely is experiencing many of the maladies familiar to rural ME/USA. Among them, the local hospital will no longer deliver babies. The panel was struck by the notion that, from now on, no one will be born in Ely. That is until someone proclaimed 'Ya but they'll all get their start here!' to cheers and applause. And one of the panelists injected 'Interesting perspective on the beginning of life . . ' and another panelist quickly changed the subject.
The Rs aren't immune to conflicted morals but he Ds are infected and celebrate them.

Obama gets the Ron Paul treatment:
'Too many Americans don't know what we stand for,' says Democratic leader Chuck Schumer as he unveils new party agenda (but TV news doesn't cover him live)
Democrats were locked out of White House, Senate and House of Representatives and are finally turning their back on the Clinton years . . .
