"CoastalKos" coming to Lamoine Aug. 17-18
What's the best way to spend a weekend in August if you're a progressive Democrat in Maine? How about a camp-out by the ocean with like-minded souls? Party into the night with some of the folks who've helped turn a red county blue, while setting a model for grassroots-based campaign strategy in Maine. Meet Philinmaine, of the DKos "Nuts and Bolts" series, just back from his presentation on Rural Grassroots at YearlyKos. Meet Heather, our campaign coordinator extraordinaire. Meet Dexter, our GOTV Guru (and the genius behind our kakistocracy bumper sticker), and many of the rest of our notorious crew!

Oh, and if you stick around till Saturday afternoon, you can also meet Ned Lamont, and our terrific Maine Congressmen, Tom Allen and Mike Michaud!

Nuts and Bolt...never a more accurate label. Case in point the discussion at this site regarding the male dominance of blogs. The hard-left femiloons even have a go at their own side.

Sure, sh*theads works too I would guess... ;-)

Will the DEA have an agent there to bust them for possession of banned substances?

Is it my imagination or are number of the f-bombs on Daily Kos really a bit fewer than before? If so, you can credit Bill O'Reilly who has really whipped this lefty bunch into a fury by criticizing their gross commentary. However, in doing so he may have made them much more conscious of their vile language -- which in turn stifles their attempts to smear their opponents. This sad bunch is not very effective when they can't sling the f-word at their targets.

Surely considering who some of the Kosites support, illegal substances is the least of the authorities problems.

Maybe they're all CIA pawns

Is it possible Markos Alberto Moulitsas Zúñiga, leader of the “Kossaks,” that is to say followers and fawners of the Daily Kos, is a CIA operative? Francis Holland, posting on the My Left Wing messageboard, details Moulitsas’ relationship with the CIA:

“Markos Moulitsas Zúniga, owner of the DailyKos website, now admits that he spent six months in the employ of the US Central Intelligence Agency in 2001,” writes Holland. “In a one-hour interview on June 2, 2006 at the Commonwealth Club, Moulitsas, also known as ‘Kos,’ admitted that he was a CIA employee and would have ‘no problem working for them’ in the present.”

Judging from his uniform patches Markos was a non-com in the 3rd Infantry Division at one point. Probably where he developed his affection for the f-word. But it's stretch to turn him into a CIA operative. In any case. it's the FBI, not the CIA, that is responsible for monitoring anti-American activities in this country.
